Games Offered at Bay 101 Casino

  • Poker Tables

Bay 101 Casino has poker games and California games. Texas Hold’em and Omaha High-Low Split are the two most popular games available at the casino. Games have various limits ranging from $1 to $2 with a spread limit where it is possible to bet up to $200. The no-limit games begin at $1/$1/$2 and range up to $25/$50. Texas Hold’em is the most popular poker game available in the world. Players begin the game with two cards face down to form a hand. The hands are comprised of the five best cards among the hole cards and the community cards on the table.

  • Omaha High-Low

Omaha High-Low Split is a variation on Texas Hold’em in which the high hand and low hand will split the pot. Players are given four cards at the beginning of the game and must use three of the board cards to make a high and low hand. It is possible for one player to win both the high and low hand. It is also possible to have the hands won by two different people at the table, where one wins the high and the other wins the low. In this game a person has a 50 percent increase in winning one of the stakes.

The casino offers a range of betting limits at the Texas Hold’em and No Limit tables. These limits are as follows:

3/6, 6/12, 8/16, 20/40, 40/80, 100/200, 200/400 for Texas Hold’em

1/2/2, 2/3/5, 5/5/10, 25/50, 10/20 for No Limit Hold’em

4/8 and 10/20 for Omaha

  • California Games

Bay 101 Casino as a card room offers 21st Century Baccarat, Pai Gow Poker, Pai Gow Tiles, 21st Century Blackjack, and Three Card Poker. 21st Century Baccarat requires the player to reach a hand with 9 as the total value. The game is played the same as regular baccarat except for one difference in which the odds are eliminated between the player line and dealer line wagers. It is replaced with a “barring” in which one specific bank hand can be the winner. The hand is the Dragon 7.

  • Pai Gow Poker

Pai Gow Poker has seven players, where one player is the dealer. Every player is given seven cards and the chance to arrange them in two hands. The first hand is made of five cards leaving two cards for the second hand. The five card hand must rank higher than the two card hand. The hands compete one at a time against the dealer like blackjack. The dealer hand is played against the player hands going in a clockwise motion. The player wins if both hands beat the dealer and lose if both hands do not. If either hand ties with the dealer this is a win for the dealer. The player pushes if one hand wins or the other loses. Pai Gow Poker uses a deck of 53 cards. In this game no suit is worth more than another but the card rankings remain the same.

  • Pai Gow Tiles

Pai Gow has always been an ancient Chinese game, meaning it was played with tiles long before it became Pai Gow Poker with cards. In this Chinese variant there are eight players with one player as the dealer. Each player will be given four tiles from the stock of 32. These tiles are placed in two hands based on a high and low hand. Like Pai Gow Poker each player will compare against the dealer to see which hands win against the deal. The following charts show Pai Gow Ranking information. There are other charts like the Single Rank, Pair Rank Wong, and Pair Rank Gong.

Bay 101 Casino uses this chart to determine the winners in Pai Gow Tiles. If a hand is won and another is lost this is called pushing where the player does not win. The player must win both hands to win.

  • 21st Century Blackjack

Blackjack or 21st Century Blackjack can have 10 players at the table where one is designated the dealer. The players are still dealt two cards to begin. The difference in 21st Century Blackjack is that the cards are dealt face up except for the dealer’s first card, which is face down. Each player will compete against the dealer and try for a natural 21. The natural pays out 6:5 unless a tie occurs. In this game players cannot bust by going over 21; instead, a push occurs with 22-25. Players have to hit on 11 or less, but can stand or hit on 12 to 20. The dealer must stand on hard 17 and hit on soft 17. They must also hit on a hand lower than 16.

  • Three Card Poker

Three card poker is played with ten players and again one is the dealer/player. Each player will be given three cards face down. The dealer has two cards face down and one face up. Each player will make a bet including an optional bonus bet if they wish. The player will examine their hands to decide if play will continue. The active hands will then compete against the dealer to see who has the better hand. The dealer hand will not qualify if the bet receives no action or if the ante bet on any hand is paid even money. The player will win even money on the ante bet and play bet if their hand beats the dealer. The dealer wins if the player hand does not win. A push can also occur where the player’s hand and the dealer hand is the same.
